Baby's First Cloche

Back in November The Animator's Wife took Little Lovely to her second wedding. Yes, second wedding, at the tender age of 3 months. Seeing as how it was an outdoor wedding at the beginning of winter weather, I remember The Animator's Wife complaining about the logistics of planning a formal outfit around such circumstances. Likewise, since the Lovely was going to be in attendance, she needed to wear something both dressy and warm.

Enter the crochet cloche. A cloche is a very elegant solution for winter accessorizing. The 1920s style is dressy enough for formal gatherings and warm enough to keep baby from freezing.

I know on the cusp of Spring we're a bit off-season to be posting this pattern, but the Lovely makes it a wee bit difficult to find time for pattern-writing these days.
