Note: This tutorial shows the back-post double crochet, but the back-post treble crochet and back-post half-double crochet stitches are worked in the same manner. Simply yarn over the required number of times for the stitch in Step 1 (once for half-double and double crochet, twice for treble crochet), and then complete the stitch as usual after Step 3.
2. Insert hook from back to front to back around stitch indicated.
3. Yarn-over and draw up a loop. There will be 3 loops on your hook.
4. Yarn-over and draw through 2 loops on your hook. There will be 2 loops left on the hook.
5. Yarn-over and draw through the last 2 loops on your hook. Back-post double crochet is complete.
